I am currently getting into more natural/nontoxic skin care products & this beef tallow is perfect!! I have learned that the shorter the ingredient list, the better for you it is.. and this only has 5 ingredients!! && it’s grass-fed beef!!! This moisturizer leaves my face so so smooth and shiny. I genuinely recommend everyone use beef tallow balm for the moisturizer in their skin care routine

So I got this beef tallow moisturizer. Took a chance. Was worried it might make this crazy acne worse. Or that it might smell too strongly like beef or even citrus! But it was Amazon so I thought.... Well I can return it if I hate it.And out the gate I was like... Hmmmm greasy. And I'm not sure. But the smell was nice, not too much at all. And no beef lol. So I began to try it a bit here and there for the first week. Took me a min to figure out how much was too much and to get use to working with it and the feel of it cause it's different. And I hate change! Lol But then I started slugging it on with castor oil at night. And woke up looking less like the crypt keeper. Another week goes by and I start realizing that my skin feels better when I use this stuff rather than when I use my normal moisturizer. And I lean more into the beef tallow. I noticed if I put it on at night I don't need more in the morning now, especially after slugging.And then I realized that it has been a week since any acne. Then two weeks. Then 4!!!!And then I have people saying things like "Your skin looks absolutely amazing" or "You are glowing". WHAT!?!? ME? I haven't glowed in 4 years!And then I begin to look in the mirror again. Quit looking at myself a couple years back. But I was Liking that girl looking back cause damn her skin looks AMAZING. She doesn't look like a paper bag anymore! That's the skin she used to have! It's back!Honestly I cannot tell you how big of a deal this stuff is. I haven't tried any other brands but who cares!?! This stuff right here? It just fixed my menopause skin. Ladies if you know, you freaking know!I will say that slugging your face with castor oil mixed with this beef tallow is a pro tip. But don't slug directly up to your lashes! It will irritate your eyeballs. So stay about a half inch away from upper and lower lashes ladies! You're welcome! But I would highly suggest doing that. Castor oil is an anti inflammatory, pore cleanser, and helps your cells regenerate, heals scars, etc. But slugging with my old moisturizer and castor oil did not do what this combo of the tallow and castor is doing!!! So enjoy it!But during the day, a tiny bit of this stuff on your face is all you need. The skin around your eyes is going to LOVE IT. Your lips will love it. Your cheeks, neck, forehead, everything.I wish they sold tubs of the stuff so I could use it all over my body but I'll take the win with the face and I use coconut oil on my body anyways.So Try this tallow. Give it time. Get use to it. Then soak up the compliments. Hell, you'll compliment your self when you see you in the mirror! LolIt's gonna look good on you. Your skin will thank you!Plus this company is pretty cool. I've looked into them and they are exactly what I was looking for. Family ran. From right here in America. I’ve used beef tallow in the past as a moisturizer because it’s the closest to human sebum I can purchase. However, olive oil, honey, and beeswax also do wonders to keep skin soft, smooth, and hydrated. This balm has been great, and better than tallow because it doesn’t smell like tallow. My skin is smooth and clear (some pimples sometimes, but I’ll take that over wrinkles), and of course: wrinkle smoothing and pore diminishing. I’ve been using the balm for a month and a half twice a day with a water-only wash at least three times a day and gentle exfoliation. The balm also works well as a gentle makeup remover, too.So far, my skin is softer, smoother, and more even toned. My pores are smaller, and when I do get pimples, they’re pretty small and heal quickly.If you’re new to oil-based skincare, there’s a learning curve for you and your skin.First, you don’t need that much. Spread an even layer over your face, but don’t oil up like you’re about to go tanning. Let the balm sit on your skin and absorb. It will go from greasy to soft in a few minutes. But it’s not meant to slather on like you’re slugging.Your skin is not meant to be sterilized and oil free, and it will take a a little time to adjust to this feeling if you’re used to stripping the sebum from your skin.Give it a couple weeks to fix your skin. The balm is keeping moisture inside your skin, not stripping it away and then superficially and temporarily placing moisture on the topmost layer as a lotion would. Depending on your skin’s current health and how much you mess with it with other products, adjusting time may vary. You will likely see purging in the first week or two, and you will also see flaky skin. This is especially true if your body is still adjusting its sebum levels. Let your skin heal on its own while using the balm. Gently physically exfoliate every week or two depending on how your skin handles it.Next, cut down or eliminate the rest of your products as they are no longer needed. Makeup and sunscreen can be applied over it, but it may interfere with healing. At this point, I can put the balm on a pimple and it’s gone fairly quickly - small ones may be gone by the end of the day. But there’s no need for a seven-step skincare routine because the balm addresses most of the issues those products would allegedly address.This is not a magic bullet. You may still get pimples or fine lines or eczema. It can’t outrun environmental, dietary, or hormonal factors. However, it can simplify your skincare and help heal dehydrated, inflamed, and infected skin, and it’s great for sensitive skin and really for anyone who is tired of being stuck on an expensive and useless skincare cycle that’s only making them more dependent on even more products.
